A pleasant and cosy hotel with a lot of atmosphere.
Since 1961 the hotel has been owned and personally managed by the family of Liselotte and Werner Jenke.
In 1994 the hotel has been elected to be one of the most well liked hotels according to the users of the Mitsubishi Electronic Hotel Guide.
City Center
Located in the city center, about 5 minutes from Munich central train station, between the Octoberfest field and the new European Patent Office, the hotel is perfectly situated to reach business appointments in the city and its surroundings or to shop or to sight-see in pretty Munich.

Please see the map above to find out that the pedestrian malls and many of Munich's interesting sights and recreational facilities are within easy reach by foot. Munich is safe!
Public transport
You prefer public transports? No problem: street cars No. 18 and 19 stop right in front of our building and take you in not even 10 minutes to the old town and further. Or just catch the "U- or S-Bahn" (Underground system - stop for instance at main train station) that bring you also to Munich's outskirts and to points of interest as Dachau or lakes like Starnberger See and Ammersee. We provide tickets and maps at the desk and will assist you in finding your way through Munich.
How to get to the JEDERMANN:
There are three ways to reach Munich: train, plane and car.
By train
You will leave the train at Munich main station "Hauptbahnhof", only five to ten minutes walk from the hotel. Please leave the station at the southern side near track 11. You will directly hit "Bayerstrasse". Please turn right and walk up the street till Number 95 on the left hand side. This is HOTEL JEDERMANN!
You would rather take public transport? In this case, leave the station as above, but instead of turning left, just go to the middle of "Bayerstrasse". There is the street car stop of No. 18 and 19. Take the street cars that go to Pasing and get out at the second stop, which is called "Hermann-Lingg-Strasse". Our hotel is just across the street; in the green building at number 95 on the left hand side of "Bayerstrasse". The driver will sell you a single ticket to get there.
By plane
You will arrive at Munich International Airport "Franz-Josef-Strauss". It is about 45 minutes (35 km) from the city center and Munich main station. Please use either public transports (S-Bahn No. 8 / app. DEM 13,50), shuttle-bus (DEM 15) or taxi (app. DEM 95) to reach the main station (Hauptbahnhof). From there you will be able to reach the hotel as described above.
By car, motor cycle or push-bike
Whether you will be arriving from Salzburg, Nürnberg, Frankfurt or anywhere else, all highways end in Munich's "Mittlerer Ring", a motor-way around the city. You can now either follow the signs to Munich's main station "Hauptbahnhof"; Bayerstrasse is the street south of the main station. Or stay on the Mittlerer Ring till you arrive at a bridge called "Donnersberger Brücke" (please see map). Landsberger Strasse is the prolongation of Bayerstrasse, so please stay on Landsberger Strasse direction city-center to hit Bayerstrasse. To unload the car, please stop for a few moments in front of the hotel.
Parking
The receptionist will explain you where to park in the garage for DEM 10 per night or where to leave your bike!
Coach parking is available at Arnulfstrasse at 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
Trade-fairs and congresses
Congresses that are hold at the old exhibition center "Alte Messe" at Schwanthaler Höhe can be reached within 10 minutes walk.
To reach Munich's new exposition center NEUE MESSE München-Riem you may choose:
The hotel's comfortable private Shuttlebus. It is available for most fairs and takes about 30 minutes.
Or S-Bahn Nr. 5 or 6 directly from the main-station. Tickets and indications are provided at the reception.

Rooms
You can choose between three categories in 55 rooms.
Rooms, comfortably equipped with private shower and toilet, radio-alarm, phone, modem-socket, Satellite-TV
with english and other foreign language channels. The majority of these rooms has two bath-rooms one for the shower, one for the toilet. Most rooms also supply of security-box and hair-dryers. Some of these rooms have been recently renovated and are equipped with air-condition.
A data socket for modems guarantees simple use of lap-tops and private access to all Internet services and E-Mail. These rooms mostly have large writing desks with good lighting.
Adapters and modems can be borrowed at the desk, as well as our guest-PC can be used for free to send and receive E-Mails or to use other services.
Rooms with wash-basin
These rooms are more basic with only wash-basin in the room, but toilet and shower to be shared on the corridor. Guests staying in this or the next category of rooms can watch TV and make phone-calls from the telephone-cabin in the lobby.
Rooms with shower
are equipped with a shower and a wash-basin. In this case, the toilet is also available on the same corridor.
Most of the hotel, especially the category of rooms with all private facilities, is located quietly and calm. Other rooms are as well equipped with double-glass windows. Please ask for our rooms with air-condition.
Cots
will be arranged on request.

Non-smoking rooms
are available in all categories. Please advise us possibly in advance!
Internet
Obviously you are a computer user! Don't worry, you will not have to renounce to the electronical world while staying at the JEDERMANN!
A computer has been installed for our guests private use. Sending and receiving E-Mails, checking your mail back home or at your job, surfing the Internet, word-processing and many other things are easily possible in the hotel lobby or, if you prefer, totally private in your hotel room. All rooms with private facilities supply of their own data-sockets to allow you plug in your lap-top. Adapters, modems or other tools as well as "help" are available on request through the desk!

Breakfast
Starting from 6.30 a.m. till 10 a.m., sundays and on bank holidays even till 11 a.m., we hope to help you have a pleasant way to start the day while enjoying breakfast from our buffet in the charming breakfast room. Refreshing fruit-juices, different kinds of cereals or "Muesli", german "quark" (some kind of cottage cheese) or yoghurt and fruits depending on the season are as well offered as cold meat cuts, ham, cheese or salads.
Crispy rolls and the famous german bread will be there, may be to be joined by home made jam or marmelade? You will be served for freshly prepared coffee, black tea, fruit tea, hot and cold chocolate or milk.
The little hotel bar
The famous bavarian beer, german wine specialities and "Sekt", but as well coffee, tea and drinks with no alcohol or the classic longdrinks are offered in our cosy bar at reasonable prices. Why not try our home made "Schnaps" called Obstler, distilled with apples, plums or pears?
Lunch and dinner
Our hotel is what the germans call "garni". This means you can enjoy breakfast in the hotel. For lunch or dinner we will be most pleased to make reservations in a typical bavarian "Gasthaus" or in any other kind of restaurant near the hotel.
Meetings
During your business meeting at the JEDERMANN we offer to prepare cold snacks or provide fresh fruits with any beverage you might desire, in case you don't feel like leaving the hotel. For reservation or further information please don't hesitate to contact us!
